- Click the Start button.
- From the Start menu, point to Netscape Communicator and choose
Netscape Navigator.
- Click the OK button to start the SetupWizard.
- Each user of a Communicator on a particular machine has a group of settings
called a Profile.
Click the Next button to start creating your user profile.
- In the Full Name text box, type your name.
- In the Email Address text box, type your Active username, followed
by @activecom.net
For example: username@activecom.net
- Click the Next button to continue.
- Click the Next button to confirm the spelling of your username.
- In the Outgoing mail [SMTP] server text box, type mail.activecom.net
- Click the Next button.
- In the Incoming Mail Server text box, type mail.activecom.net
- Click the Next button.
- In the News (NNTP) server text box, type news.activecom.net
- Click the Finish button.
- Click the Start Communicator button to confirm the selected profile.
- From the Edit menu, choose Preferences.
- In the Location text box, type http://www.activecom.net
- Click the OK button.
