- Click the Start button.
- From the Start menu, point
to Netscape Communicator and choose Netscape Navigator.

- From the menu bar, click Edit
and choose Preferences.
- From Mail & Groups click
the Identity link.

- In the Full Name text box,
type your name.
- In the Email Address text
box, type your Active username, followed by @activecom.net. For example:
username@activecom.net

- From Mail & Groups click
the Mail Server link.

- In the Mail server username
text box, type your username.
- In the Outgoing mail [SMTP] server
text box, type mail.activecom.net
- In the Incoming Mail Server
text box, type mail.activecom.net
- Select POP3 (messages and folders
are kept localy, on the hard disk)

- Click the OK button to close
the window.
