Outlook Express News Setup
- Click the Start button, point to Programs, point to Internet
Explorer, and choose Outlook Express
- Click the OK button.
- Click the Read News icon.
- If you wish to make Outlook Express your default news program, click the
Yes button.
- In the Display name box, type your name.
- Click the Next button.
- In the E-mail address box, type your e-mail address.
- Click the Next button.
- In the News (NNTP) server box, type news.activecom.net.
- Check My news server requires me to log on.
- Click the Next button.
- Select Log on using: News account name
- In the News account name box, type your Active e-mail address (make
sure to include the @activecom.net)
- In the Password box, type your e-mail password.
- Click the Next button.
- In the Internet news account name box, type Active News
- Click the Next button.
- Select Connect using my phone line.
- Click the Next button.
- Select Use an existing dial-up connection.
- Select your Activecom dial-up connection.
- Click the Next button.
- Click the Finish button.
- Click the Yes button.
- Click the Yes button.
