Windows 95/98 Dial-up Networking

Installing TCP/IP

Note: Before you begin, Make sure you have your Windows 95 or 98 CD-ROM or diskettes available and ready for installation.
  1. Click the Start button point to Settings and choose Control Panel.



  2. Double-click the Network icon.



  3. Select the Configuration tab.
  4. Click the Add button.
  5. Select Protocol.
  6. Click the Add button.



  7. From the Manufacturers: list, choose Microsoft.
  8. From the Network Protocols: list, choose TCP/IP.



  9. Click the OK button.
  10. Click the OK button again.
  11. Windows 95 will prompt you for your installation diskettes or CD.
  12. Wait for TCP/IP to install.
  13. When you are told to restart, click the OK button.
  14. Wait for Windows 95 to restart.
